Free Modern Slavery Awareness Training for Lincolnshire Voluntary Organisations and Charities
The Police and Crime Commissioner for Lincolnshire is delighted to have secured external funding to enable the delivery of Modern Slavery Awareness training across Lincolnshire.
Working with the Safer Lincolnshire Partnership, the PCC is funding Hope for Justice to deliver this important training to volunteers and charity workers. Community safety is not only concerned with raising awareness of potential victims of human trafficking but also safeguarding charities who care for vulnerable people or those going through vulnerable times. Sadly, charity services are targeted by serious organised criminals who wish to exploit and traffic the very people the charity wish to support. Therefore, for you to access this FREE session you need to be specifically employed by, or volunteer for, a local charity in Lincolnshire.
On completion of this training session you will be able to;
- Explain what Human Trafficking and Exploitation is and identify the different types that exist;
- Recognise the signs and indicators of Human Trafficking and Exploitation;
- Respond appropriately to a case / victim of Human Trafficking and Exploitation.
