Lincolnshire Strong Voices

It is important that we are giving the young people in Lincolnshire a platform to talk and discuss issues and concerns where they live, and to be the facilitators to help implement real change in the community!

What is Lincolnshire Strong Voices?

Created by The Lincolnshire Office of Police and Crime Commissioner and facilitated by the Safer Together Team, Lincolnshire Strong Voices is a space for young people aged 11-21 to raise issues and concerns about where they live and influence real change.

Through Lincolnshire Strong Voices, we aim to give young people the platform to:

  • raise policing and crime issues in their communities
  • challenge and inform the work of the Police and Crime Commissioner
  • challenge and inform the work of Lincolnshire Police
  • help make their communities feel and be even safer

Our streams of work to engage with young people across the county has three delivery strands:

  • Core Group of active participants
Every 2 months in each of the districts we have our core group of young people who meet and work on a range of workshop activities and build on the aims and milestones of the Young Voices work.
To sign up to become a member, please complete the online form by clicking here.
  • School Engagement
All schools and colleges in Lincolnshire have been given the opportunity to have us host 3 different types of engagement programmes in schools.
To register your school or education setting, please email safertogetherteam@lincolnshire.police.uk
  • Community Groups Engagement
We have the opportunity for any community groups or partners in the county to have engagement sessions with their young people.
To register your community group, please email safertogetherteam@lincolnshire.police.uk

You can help make our communities feel and be even safer!

We are looking for 11 - 21 year olds in Lincolnshire who want to use their voices and work together to make positive changes where they live.

You have a voice, now it's your time to use it!
