Restorative Justice Service Delivery Assistant
Restorative Solutions have an opportunity for a two new roles to join our team who deliver the restorative justice (RJ) service for victims of crime in Lincolnshire commissioned by the Police and Crime Commissioner.
The RJ Lead Practitioner role will include working with victims of crime and their offenders, the delivery of direct and indirect restorative justice outcomes, assistance with the management of a team of volunteer RJ practitioners, responsibilities for social media and other awareness raising activities, delivering training to local partner services including Lincolnshire Police and liaison with referring partners.
This role is a permanent full time post, with a starting salary of £22K/annum. This role will commence as soon as possible.
The RJ Service Delivery Assistant role will include the co-ordination of referrals and enquiries to the Service from Criminal Justice Service (CJS) and victims’ services partners and from service users, the management of records on the Service’s case management system, initial contact with victims and delivery of direct and indirect restorative justice outcomes as required.
This role is a permanent part time post, £4,800/annum for 10 hours/week (FTE £18K/annum). This role will commence 01/04/2021.
For both functions we are looking for people ideally with a background in the CJS or victims services, good oral and written communication skills, able to work independently with minimal supervision and with strong ICT skills, including use of databases and spreadsheets. For the practitioner role we are ideally looking for an experienced restorative practitioner. If RJ training is required for either role this is provided on the 19-21 January 2021, there would be a requirement to attend.
